// OUR MISSION
The Malta Rescue Corps (MRC) is a humanitarian volunteering organisation dedicated to emergency response, community service, and youth development across the Maltese islands. Founded on the principles of courage, compassion, and service, the MRC stands ready to assist in times of crisis and celebration alike.
Our organisation brings together trained volunteers from all walks of life — paramedics, rescue specialists, youth leaders, and community champions — united by a single purpose: to protect and serve the people of Malta and Gozo. Whether deployed at large-scale public events, responding to medical emergencies, or running youth empowerment programmes, our teams operate with professionalism and heart.
The MRC is structured around several specialist units: the First Aid & Ambulance Unit, the Rescue Unit, the Cadets programme, and the Junior Cadets programme. Each unit plays a vital role in the organisation's capacity to respond, educate, and inspire.
We are recognised by international humanitarian bodies and supported by the local community. As a non-profit voluntary organisation, the MRC relies on the dedication of its members and the generosity of donors to continue its life-saving work. Join us, support us, or simply learn more — every connection strengthens the corps.
