PROJECT 01

The Malta Rescue Corps relies on well‑trained volunteers to deliver civil protection, rescue, first aid and community support services. A critical component of this work is ensuring that volunteers are properly equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE), particularly standardized uniforms, including all weather clothing. These resources are not cosmetic; they are essential for safety, professionalism, volunteer motivation, team building and effective training. By equipping volunteers with proper uniforms, the project elevates the realism and quality of training, preparing young people for real‑world scenarios. It also strengthens public trust: when volunteers are visibly identifiable and professionally presented, communities are more likely to engage and rely on their support.
PROJECT 02
Digital Empowerment for Inclusive Youth Work

The project implemented a 10‑day international training course in Yerevan, Armenia (10–19 September 2025) for 33 youth workers from Malta, Armenia, Georgia, and Italy. Its purpose was to strengthen youth workers’ ability to use digital tools in inclusive youth work, especially when supporting young people with fewer opportunities. The training combined practical digital tool exploration, non‑formal learning, peer exchange, and daily reflection. Participants tested digital storytelling, collaborative online tools, and accessible content‑creation methods, focusing on realistic approaches suitable for organisations with limited resources. Out of the 33 participants, 17 were youth workers with fewer opportunities, and two accompanying persons provided additional support where needed. A major tangible result was the creation of the Inclusive Digital Resource Hub, an online collection of tools and methods tested during the course. Participants reported increased confidence in applying digital tools, better understanding of digital inclusion, and stronger international cooperation. Organisations benefited from improved capacity to integrate digital elements into youth work and from strengthened partnerships. The project applied sustainable practices, including digital‑first preparation, shared eco‑transport for regional groups, and a venue that reduced daily travel. Dissemination included internal workshops, local sharing sessions, a project webpage, a recap video, and publication on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform. Overall, the project met and exceeded its objectives, strengthened professional competences, improved organisational capacity, and contributed to wider impact at local, national, and European levels.

PROJECT 03
Tango Charlie Three - TC3
TANGO CHARLIE THREE (TC3) is an 11‑month capacity‑building initiative (March–December 2025) led by the Malta Rescue Corps (MRC) in partnership with the Malta Police Force, aimed at creating Malta’s first Police Medics and significantly strengthening national pre‑hospital care capability. The project will train volunteers from MRC and selected members of the Police Special Intervention Unit (SIU) in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), with several progressing to instructor level, and will procure specialised medical training equipment to ensure high‑quality, internationally certified delivery. As stated in the application, “The project will see volunteers – M.R.C. and members of the Police Force being trained in TCCC; some to instructor level… The project will create police medics, which will be a first for Malta.”

PROJECT 04
Holistic Youth Empowerment: Building Resilience & Inclusion through Body, Mind, Heart, Spirit, and Nature

The project set out to strengthen young people’s resilience, inclusion, and personal development by using a holistic Body‑Mind‑Heart‑Spirit‑Nature framework. It responded to the growing need for young people to have safe spaces where they can explore identity, emotional well‑being, belonging, and purpose. The objectives included: Helping participants understand how emotional, physical, social, and reflective dimensions influence their participation in society. Supporting young people—especially those with fewer opportunities—to recognise their strengths and develop confidence. Promoting intercultural understanding between youth from Malta, Armenia, Georgia, and Italy. Encouraging participants to apply learning in their local communities and act as multipliers. Creating a practical resource for youth workers based on the group’s collective learning.

PROJECT 05
AED Installation & Maintenance
The Malta Rescue Corps leads an initiative to install and maintain Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in public spaces across Malta and Gozo. Our trained volunteers regularly service these life-saving devices, ensuring communities are equipped to respond to sudden cardiac arrest.
